Proud Supporters

The MS Society states that Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world, with roughly 100,000 Canadians affected by the chronic, often disabling disease of the brain and spinal cord, and GardGroup Inc. is a proud supporter of the MS Society of Canada.

Jacquelyn Lebel of AM980 News Radio reported that the 2014 MS Bike Ride From Grand Bend To London And Back Raises $1.34 Million and we were a proud supporter of this event. The event was part of MS Bike, the largest cycling series in North America, and saw 1717 cyclists travel 150km from Grand Bend to London and back.

Since 2011, the Run for L’Arche has raised over $150,000 for L’Arche Calgary’s homes and programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Every year, the event hosts 500 participants in the Half Marathon, 5 Mile and 1K Fun Run Walk events. Their enthusiastic volunteers and pancake breakfasts are a big hit every year in Calgary and GardGroup Inc. is proud to have supported the event as well as enabling a employee to run at this ever growing event in Western Canada.

GardGroup Inc. is proud to have supported The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada - Newfoundland & Labrador Chapter over the course of 7 days and 2,200 kms, Team Wishful Thinking participated in the Targa Newfoundland Rally Race which is a multi-stage, 200 competitor rally race throughout the scenic Province of Newfoundland. Their goal was to raise $100,000 for The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada. In addition to a podium finish and a charitable donation, Team Wishful Thinking will be raising awareness of the amazing work provided by this world-class organization. After the event the vehicle was auctioned to the highest bidder with full proceeds going to The Children's Wish Foundation.
